About Allied Legal PC

A Holistic Approach to Legal Representation

Allied Legal PC / Law Office of Gopal Krishan is a full-service law firm with over 15 years of experience helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex legal challenges in Family Law, Business Law, Estate Planning, Immigration Law, Criminal Defense, and related matters.

We take a holistic approach - because legal issues rarely exist in isolation. A criminal case can affect your immigration status. A family matter can impact your estate plan or your business. We evaluate the full picture so that our strategy works across every area of your life, not just one.

No online resource can replace the judgment of a lawyer who truly understands your circumstances. We listen first, then advise - developing solutions that are practical, achievable, and aligned with your goals today and in the future.

"Affordable does not mean cheap. It means accessible. We believe quality legal representation should not be a privilege reserved for the wealthy."

Attorney Gopal Krishan - Allied Legal PC
Meet the Attorney

Gopal Krishan, Esq.

Gopal Krishan is a California-licensed attorney with over 15 years of active practice in the state. He is a member in good standing of the California State Bar and has built his practice around Family Law, Immigration, Estate Planning, Criminal Defense, and Business Law - serving clients throughout the Bay Area and across California.

In addition to his California license, Gopal is also licensed to practice law in India, where he has been admitted since 2003. This dual licensure is a significant advantage for clients with legal matters that cross borders - whether it is an Indian marriage dispute, NRI estate planning, cross-border property, or immigration matters involving family members in India. Clients get one attorney who can handle both sides, without the cost and confusion of coordinating between two separate firms.

Gopal has clients across the United States and around the world. His immigration and family law practice regularly serves individuals and families who are not physically located in the U.S. - he is fully equipped to represent and advise clients wherever they are.

He believes in straight answers, transparent fees, and practical solutions built around the client's actual situation - not a one-size-fits-all approach.

2026 District Attorney Candidate Community Leadership

Alameda County District Attorney Race - June 2026

In 2026, Gopal Krishan ran for Alameda County District Attorney in a three-way race against incumbent DA Ursula Jones Dickson - who had been appointed by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors following the 2024 recall of Pamela Price - and former DA Pamela Price herself, who was attempting to reclaim the seat she had been recalled from.

Running as a political outsider and first-time candidate, Gopal positioned himself as the independent voice the office needed - one not tied to the existing power structure on either side. His platform focused on protecting immigrant communities from unlawful ICE enforcement, aggressively prosecuting hate crimes and organized crime, and overhauling a DA's office he argued had suffered from years of institutional dysfunction regardless of who was in charge.

The race received widespread media coverage from Berkeleyside, KQED, Diya TV, The Oaklandside, CBS San Francisco, KTVU, and Oakland Voices. Gopal participated in multiple candidate debates including a high-profile forum at CSU East Bay and a debate co-hosted by Berkeleyside and The Oaklandside at Oakstop in Oakland.
