In California, your marriage cannot be dissolved unless it has been at least 6 months and one day since the date of service. 

However, other issues in your case such as below can be resolved within six months:

1. 1. 1. Spousal Support,
      2. Child Custody,
      3. Child Support,
      4. Attorney Fee and
      5. Property Division.

You do not have to wait the full six months to address these matters. Once your divorce case is finalized, all the issues will be resolved, and you will be given a future date, which will be 6 months and one day after the date of service, to dissolve your marriage.

This saves you time and money. Most importantly, you can avoid the emotional turmoil associated with a lengthy divorce process. A prolonged divorce is an emotionally draining rollercoaster that depletes the financial resources of the entire family. By utilizing One-Day Divorce, you can conserve time, money, and use those resources for your own benefit.

Not every case qualifies for this, as there are basic requirements to determine if your case qualifies for a “One-Day Divorce.”
